Calls you miss on the tools
How many calls come in while you are on a roof, under a house or driving, what happens to them now, and which ones turn into jobs. We look at after-hours and emergency calls separately.
Quotes and follow-up
How long a quote takes to go out, how many get chased, and how many go quiet. Most trade businesses lose more work here than they realise.

One fix to start with
Usually call answering, a missed-call text back or quote reminders. You get a plain view of what it would take to set up and what it would cost to run before you agree to anything.
Before the call
Have your phone handy. The most useful numbers are how many calls you missed last week, how many quotes you sent and how many of those you heard back on, and your average job value. A guess is fine. We use them to work out whether a fix would pay for itself in your trade and area.

Questions about the setup call
Is the setup call free?
Yes. The 30-minute call costs nothing and you are not signing up to anything by booking it. Sole traders and businesses with crews are both welcome.
Who will I speak with?
A consultant from the Yes AI group, the Melbourne company behind AI for Tradies. Your calendar invitation comes from the Yes AI team calendar with a video link you can join from your phone.
Which times can I book?
Weekday start times from 9am to 6:30pm Melbourne time, at least two hours ahead, excluding Victorian public holidays. Times show in your own time zone, for example Brisbane (AEST) or Perth (AWST). An early evening slot works well if you are on site all day.
Do I need anything ready?
No. A rough idea of how many calls and quote requests you get in a week is enough. If you can see your missed calls in your phone log, that helps.
Should my office manager join?
If someone else answers the phone or sends invoices for the business, yes. They usually know where the jobs slip through better than anyone.
How do I change or cancel?
Reply to the calendar invitation or call (03) 9003 0111. Reminder emails arrive before the call, plus an SMS if you give a mobile number.
